Irish newspaper outs actors ETK et al

Just like SpyCatcher or Andrew Morton's biography of Tom Cruise, both banned outside the UK but available over the water in Ireland, an Irish Newspaper has outed who the ETK injunction parties are.

So the poor helpless and shameless UK news outlets are having to give clues because they are gagged:

Looks like the"Irish newspaper" hasn't anything online; paper version only.

[UPDATE]
As noted by a commentator, and until someone posts some images of the newspaper, newstalk.ie have helpfully summarised the article ...

"SUNDAY WORLD

Pauline’s shameless affair – star axed after real-life sex romps with Frank. Comedy actor Pauline McLynn had a torrid affair with her co-star who plays layabout Frank Gallagher on on the Channel 4 comedy series “Shameless”. The affair is the subject of a super-injuction in the UK."

  1. Are we talking about David Threlfall and Pauline McLynn here? If we are then your readers might like to know that they are both married and that when Dave's wife found out he went along to the producers of Shameless and said that Pauline had to go. So she was sacked whilst Dave and his missus were on holiday.

On the other hand the story could refer to Hugh Bonneton who paid Wayne Rooney's old whore, Helen Wood, £195 to stick a vibrator up his bum.

    The people should be told...

  6. I would have thought 'Feck!' 'Arse!' presumably in that order.

  7. Sorry never heard of David Threlfall or Pauline McLynn (or Shameless - how apt!). A right couple of nomarks as far as I am concerned. However due to the classic Streisand effect I've made it my business to find out all about them now.
Ditto Hugh Bonneton. Though I was well aware of who and what Helen Wood is. Even before this thanks to the wonder of Rooney's.

I reckon Carter Fuck and Schillings are really being secretly employed by Max Clifford to raise the public profile of all the Z lister slebs in the land. Because THAT is EXACLTY what these injunctions are doing.

  8. Who among us can say we've never paid a hooker to stick a dildo up our bottoms? Eh?

  9. Ditto. What a disappointment, never heard of either of them.

  11. I take it back. Pauline McLynn played Mrs Doyle in Father Ted. Her I have heard of.

Anyone a clue who the eeejut nomark David Hassle....er Threlfall is? Was he on a Big Brother? Was he the idiot in the hat?

  13. Bonneville! Bonneville! For goodness sake people, keep up!

  14. I'd introduce the real thing to Bonneville's bum anytime and pay him the £195

  15. David Threlfall was in the Ken Brannagh film of the Wansee Conference, also in Master & Commander. I thought he was a decent actor. The sad thing is that the attention would have blown over relatively quickly, but now they are poster boys and girls and that is what they will be mainly remembered as.

  16. Bonneville not Bonneton or Botty Ton. Right got it.

Threlfall - yep so he's an actor is he? Yes well barely anyway. He's still a complete idiot though. And waaaaay less famous than Mrs Doyle.
    Cary Grant he ain't.

  17. People accusing David Threlfall of being a 'nomark' or 'sleb' shows how culturally ignorant some people are. They seem to think that if you're not in the tabloids on a regular basis then you are not a successful person, which is of course horse shit. He maybe an ass for cheating on his wife, but that doesn't mean he's not a successful actor, including a great Shakespearian and stage actor who's been in many RSC and other theatre productions over the decades. He's been nominated for a Tony, Emmy and Bafta multiple times and won.

And Carry Grant was no angel and neither was he any great Thespian, but he existed in a time where studios had greater control of the media, and the media was reluctant to expose the Hollywood icons for fear of a backlash from the public and studios.

  19. i feel sorry for McLynn - she was great in SHAMELESS and didn't deserve to lose her job just cos Threlfall wanted her gone - he's clearly an arse

  20. I also feel sorry for McLynn. I am sure she knows she's not the first to be treated badly and probably won't be the last. My advice to her is to switch channels. I've never watched a single episode of 'Shameless'.
